About Proxus
We are a small, focused engineering team based at NKU Technopark in Corlu, Turkey. We build a customer-controlled industrial data platform that helps manufacturing, energy, and utility operations connect their assets, preserve operational context, and deliver live and historical data to the systems that need it.
What We Build
Proxus is an Industrial Data Platform designed for OT and IT operations. It connects industrial assets at the edge, contextualizes operational data through a Unified Namespace (UNS) approach, retains live and historical data, and delivers it to dashboards, workflows, enterprise integrations, and AI consumers. IIoT connectivity is one part of that broader operational data lifecycle.
We started Proxus because the tools available for industrial data infrastructure were either too expensive, too complex to integrate, or designed for IT environments that do not understand the operational constraints of factory floors and field sites.
The Team
We are a small core team operating out of NKU Technopark (Namik Kemal University Technology Park), Corlu, Tekirdag - a hub for industrial and software R&D in northwestern Turkey.
The platform is led by Volkan Alkılıç, with over 20 years of experience in industrial software engineering, having architected data pipelines and IIoT solutions for manufacturing sites. LinkedIn
